Tips for Evaluating Information
These 5 characteristics are important for books, articles websites and all types of information. Think about these questions before you use a resource.
- Purpose - Is the content biased?
- Authority - What are the author's credentials?
- Currency - Is the information current, or out-of-date?
- Accuracy - Is the information relevant?
- Content - Is the content covered comprehensively?
