Digital Campus Introduction

Check DigitalCampus to see what titles they carry.

You’ve heard that Fontbonne has access to streaming films. How does it work? How do I get it? What titles do they have? Want do I need to do? Hopefully this LibGuide will answer a few questions for you.

Digital Campus, provided by Swank Motion Pictures, Inc.® was created for professors and administrators to enhance curriculum by providing students with access to course-related films. Through Digital Campus, students can conveniently view assigned films - freeing up valuable class time and eliminating the time constraints of sharing copies." - From their website

Fontbonne has purchased access to theatrical films for educational use through this portal.  Faculty can request semester-long access to many theatrical films, television episodes, documentaries and international films through Digital Campus. (PBS, FOX and HBO are not usually available.)

Using the Advanced Search, films can be searched by title, actor/actress, director and genre. Access usually takes less than 10 days to set up.

When you find a film you want to use for your class, contact Jane Theissen (889-4570) to request the title.  She will forward your request to Digital Campus and once is it ready, she'll send you the information you'll need to add it to your Blackboard course. See the tab Adding Digital Campus Films to Blackboard for details on that process.
